Salcombe Crabfest - Celebrating Salcombe's fishing industry

A one day celebration of fresh local crab, live cookery, music and family fun, taking place across Salcombe this May Bank Holiday. Everyone’s welcome and it’s completely free to attend.

The Rotary Club of Salcombe

Take a little look back at the history of Salcombe Rotary Club and its members.

Salcombe Crabfest is organised by the Rotary Club of Salcombe, a community-focused group founded in 1980. The Club has a long history of supporting local causes and bringing people together from pensioner dinners and fireworks BBQs to carol services and pantomime outings.

Meeting weekly at the Old Inn in Malborough, the Club draws members from local businesses and professions. Several founding members remain active, keeping the spirit of service, friendship, and community alive.

Through Salcombe Crabfest and other events, the Rotary Club continues its mission: celebrating community, supporting charities, and making a difference locally.
